FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

The questions we hear most often from professionals and organizations considering an engagement. If yours is not here, a confidential consultation is the best place to start.

Common questions

Ten questions, direct answers.

Can you guarantee a negative result will be removed from Google?

No, and no credible advisor can. Removal from Google's index depends on the source of the material, the applicable law, and the publisher — not on the advisor. What we can do is honestly assess which removal paths are realistic for your situation and, where removal is not possible, pursue suppression so the material no longer appears where people look.

How long does an engagement take to show visible change?

Meaningful movement on the first page of Google typically takes three to nine months. Removals, where available, are usually resolved in weeks. AI-answer changes generally follow the underlying search environment with a lag as models refresh. We give a specific estimate for your situation only after the audit is complete.

Do you work with individuals or only with organizations?

Both. Roughly two-thirds of our engagements are individuals — physicians, attorneys, financial professionals, executives, and public figures — and the remainder are firms, boards, and family offices. The intake process is the same.

What does 'AI reputation management' actually mean?

It means working on how large language models — ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Grok, Perplexity — describe you when someone asks about you by name or role. Because those models draw heavily on the web, the work is closely tied to search: correcting source material, establishing authoritative content, and structuring information in ways models can read.

Is anything you do a violation of Google's or a publisher's terms?

No. We do not fabricate content, impersonate anyone, or use fraudulent legal notices. Every tactic we employ is defensible in daylight — because the alternative creates far greater risk than the reputation issue it was meant to solve.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. Confidentiality is the default posture of every engagement. An NDA formalizes what is already our standard practice.

Do you publish client names or case studies?

No. Our clients hire us precisely because their public identifier is under pressure. Publishing them as marketing would defeat the purpose. On a first call we describe comparable situations in enough detail for you to calibrate expectations.

How much does an engagement cost?

It depends on scope. A limited advisory engagement — audit, strategy, and referral — is materially smaller than a full multi-quarter suppression program. We give a fixed proposal after the audit; nothing begins until you have approved it in writing.

Do you handle emergency situations — an article going live tomorrow?

Yes. Time-sensitive situations should be flagged in the intake form's urgency field. We adjust triage accordingly.

What happens after I submit the intake form?

A senior member of our team reviews it personally and responds within one business day to schedule a confidential conversation. Submitting the form does not create an engagement or any obligation.
